Liability for contents

As a service provider we are respon­sible according to § 7 Abs.1 TMG for our own contents on these pages according to the general laws. According to §§ 8 to 10 TMG, we are not obliged to monitor trans­mitted or stored third-party infor­mation or to inves­tigate circum­stances that indicate illegal activity. Oblig­a­tions to remove or block the use of infor­mation in accor­dance with general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this respect is only possible from the time of knowledge of a concrete violation of the law. As soon as we become aware of such infringe­ments, we will remove the content immedi­ately.

Liability for links

Our offer contains links to external websites of third parties, on whose contents we have no influence. Therefore, we cannot assume any liability for these external contents. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always respon­sible for the contents of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal infringe­ments at the time of linking. Illegal contents were not recog­nisable at the time of linking. A permanent control of the contents of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement. As soon as we become aware of any legal infringe­ments, we will remove such links immedi­ately.

Copyrights and photos

Photographs are photo­graphic works within the meaning of § 2 Para. 1 No. 5 Copyright Act (UrhG) and are therefore protected works under the Copyright Act. Insofar as the photo­graph does not reach the so-called “level of creation”, i.e. there is no personal spiritual creation, photographs are protected under § 72 UrhG as “simple photographs”.

The author of the respective photo­graph is the photog­rapher (§ 7 UrhG), who can assert claims in the event of infringement of his copyrights. Conceivable claims would be, for example:

In case of danger of recur­rence: Right to injunctive relief (Section 97 (1) sentence 1 UrhG)

Pixabay license — Use of pictures and videos

Images and videos on Pixabay are provided under the Pixabay license with the following condi­tions. The Pixabay license gives you an irrev­o­cable, worldwide, non-exclusive and royalty-free right to use, download, copy and modify the images and videos for commercial and non-commercial purposes. It is not necessary to name the author of the image or Pixabay, but we appre­ciate a voluntary indication of the source.

The Pixabay license does not allow this:

the sale or distri­b­ution of images or videos in digital form, especially as stock photos or digital wallpapers;
the sale or distri­b­ution of images or videos, for example as posters, digital prints or physical products, without adding additional elements or otherwise creating added value;
portraying identi­fiable persons in an insulting, porno­graphic, obscene, immoral, defam­atory or libellous manner; or
the suggestion that depicted persons, brands, organi­za­tions, etc. endorse or approve certain products or services, unless permission has been granted
